Apicoectomy

When root canals fail to clear the infection of a tooth, an apicoectomy may be the solution. For patients who have had one or more root canals fail, Dr. Amit Pandya, DDS offers apicoectomy at his New Hyde Park, NY dental practice.

While a root canal cleans the tooth out by working down to the root, an apicoectomy cleans the tooth by starting at the root tip.
