Inlays and Onlays
When there is no damage to the cusps of a tooth, Dr. Amit Pandya uses an inlay, bonding it right on top of the tooth. Made of porcelain, inlays are both strong and natural-looking, providing an attractive solution to repairing your tooth. Onlays are used when damage is a little more extensive and are used to repair part of the cusp of the tooth.
Inlays and onlays can be created at a lab out of porcelain, gold or composite resin in a lab. Fabrication normally takes between two to three weeks, and during that time, you will be provided with temporary restorations while you wait. Once they are ready, they will be cemented in place.

Painless Root Canals
Painless Root Canals
It is important that any patients experiencing tooth pain visit our office to determine if a root canal is necessary. Tooth infections can cause pain and sensitivity when they reach the nerves of your tooth. If left untreated, infections can result in costly complications, including bone damage.
Some individuals may put off their root canal because they are nervous about the procedure. However, we are happy to assure all of our patients that modern root canals are actually painless. Local anesthetic is used to numb the tooth at the start of the procedure. Then, the infected tissues are removed and the tooth is cleaned and fitted with a crown. With the use of precise dental techniques and state-of-the-art dental technologies, the entire root canal process is painless for our patients.
If you are in need of a root canal, rely on our practice to provide you with precise care and a painless experience.
